Construction of the first phase of the “Turon Turk” Special Industrial Zone, being established by Turkey’s “Heyal Holding” company, has begun in Kuva district

In his speech, the regional governor noted that as a result of agreements reached with Turkish investors, work has officially started today on establishing the “Turon Turk” industrial zone. He expressed confidence that this industrial zone, in terms of its potential and scale, will take a special place among the region’s industrial zones. It was emphasized that this project will mark a new stage in the development of the area.
It was also stressed that all regional organizations and departments must support investors in the implementation of this project. It was noted that launching the industrial zone within a short period will create new jobs. Gratitude was expressed to the Turkish entrepreneurs leading this initiative.
During the event, “Heyal Holding” founder Vahdettin Heyal stated that the favorable investment climate created in Uzbekistan is increasing the interest of Turkish businesspeople, and emphasized that this project being implemented in Fergana will open a new chapter of cooperation.
He highlighted that the project is being carried out with the support and confidence of the regional governor, and announced that the goal is to complete the first phase of the project by September.
At the event, prayers were offered with the participation of elders, after which construction of the major project officially commenced.
For information, the “Turon Turk” Special Industrial Zone, being built on a 26-hectare area in Kuva district, has a total value of 350 million US dollars. It will host production projects in fruit and vegetable processing, electrical engineering, food production, and textile industries, creating nearly 5,000 high-income jobs. The most advanced modern technologies will be applied within the project.
