The Chinese side presented information on a number of major projects aimed at enhancing the economic potential of the region. In particular, project proposals were put forward to establish the production of high-quality cable products, manufacture high-strength cement and concrete products for the construction industry, participate in the construction of facilities within the “New Uzbekistan” residential area being developed in the city of Margilan, develop renewable energy sources through the construction of wind power plants, modernize urban street lighting systems, and install modern energy-efficient lighting fixtures.
Governor Khayrullo Bozorov highly appreciated the proposals of the foreign partners, noting that the region has sufficient capacity and a favorable investment climate for the implementation of these projects. He emphasized that all the presented initiatives would be fully supported and that the khokimiyat would provide comprehensive assistance throughout their implementation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to begin implementing the approved projects as soon as possible and to accelerate practical work.
