During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on establishing mutual cooperation and implementing promising projects. In particular, a project proposal for the reconstruction and expansion of the “Istiqlol” Stadium located in the city of Fergana was discussed.
It was especially emphasized that great attention is being paid to the development of football in the country, including in the Fergana region. It was noted that the goal is to construct the Central Stadium in accordance with the most modern requirements and international standards, turning it into one of the major football complexes.
The regional governor reviewed the proposed initiatives, and the sides agreed to further refine the projects and continue cooperation.
