Addressing the gathering, the regional governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, warmly congratulated all attendees, military personnel, and their family members on the holiday. It was noted that as a result of large-scale reforms implemented in recent years at the initiative of the President, the Armed Forces are increasingly becoming a reliable guarantor of the country’s independence, the inviolability of state borders, and the peaceful and stable life of the people.
It was especially emphasized that the unity between the people and the army continues to strengthen, giving new momentum and quality to the development of the military sector.
It was also noted that the establishment of military-administrative sectors has taken efforts to develop military infrastructure and create decent social conditions for servicemen and their families to a new level.
Peace and stability in the country were highlighted as key factors of development, while strengthening defense, advancing science and the economy, and enhancing national power were identified as priority tasks.
The regional governor also spoke about the expanded meeting of the Security Council held the previous day under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which was devoted to issues of strengthening the country’s military security and defense. It was emphasized that priority tasks to ensure national security and enhance defense capability were defined at the meeting.
During the event, the regional governor once again congratulated a group of military personnel and law enforcement officers who were awarded in accordance with the relevant Presidential Decree.
As part of the celebrations, honorary certificates of the regional governor and commemorative gifts were presented to military personnel and representatives of law enforcement agencies who faithfully serve the cause of peace and stability in the country.
The concert program performed by regional artists, patriotic songs glorifying the Motherland, and performances by a military orchestra created an uplifting mood for all attendees.
