Governor Bozorov congratulated participants and highlighted the rapid growth of Fergana–Omsk cooperation: “This agro-logistics center will become a major hub not only for Kuva but for the entire Fergana Valley, enabling direct deliveries of our farmers’ fruit and vegetable produce to the Russian market and beyond.”
Under the project, Energy-land LLC will build a 15-hectare agro-logistics complex comprising a fruit and vegetable processing facility with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons, cold-storage warehouses with a total capacity of 30,000 tons, a hotel, and related infrastructure. The project will create 500 jobs and is expected to support agricultural exports of up to $100 million per year.
Governor Vitaly Khotsenko emphasized the strategic nature of Uzbekistan–Russia partnership and strong demand in Russia for Uzbek fruits, vegetables, and textiles, expressing confidence that the new center will help meet this demand efficiently.
During the ceremony, Governors Bozorov and Khotsenko officially launched the project online, and the foundation stone of the future complex was laid on site.
