He first inspected the “New Uzbekistan” residential complex and instructed officials to step up site beautification and accelerate construction.
The master plan envisages 84 multi-storey buildings comprising 6,338 apartments, along with a business center, a general education school, a hotel, a shopping and entertainment center, an institute building, a car park, and a promenade.
Construction is organized in two phases. In Phase 1 (56 buildings, 4,394 apartments), core works have been completed and interior and exterior finishing is underway.
The Governor was briefed on infrastructure and resident amenities being delivered—green parks, recreation areas, children’s playgrounds, and modern walkways. The progress was discussed with responsible officials and contractors. He emphasized high-quality landscaping and greening within set deadlines, and a set of near-term tasks was agreed.
