“Shahriston Kubosi” Archaeological Site to Become a Notable Destination for Tourists

Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov met with professors and researchers of Fergana State University to review ongoing efforts to establish an open-air museum at the “Shahriston Kubosi” archaeological site, located in the center of Quva District and associated with the legacy of Ahmad al-Fargani, as well as measures to attract more visitors.
The site is of keen interest not only to residents of Quva, but also to travelers from across Uzbekistan and abroad. The Governor underlined the need to provide visitor-friendly infrastructure and to offer broader information about the site’s rich history, noting plans to consistently apply international best practices in this area.
Scholars’ views were heard, and a joint action plan was agreed upon.
