Within the framework of the implementation of the Presidential Resolution “On measures to implement the agreements reached in the fields of agriculture and food during the high-level visit to Mongolia,”
1,000 head of “Bayat” breed sheep were imported from Mongolia to the “Bukhara Karakul Sur 2020” LLC operating in Tomdi district.

It should be recalled that last year sheep of this breed were also brought to Navoi region, where research activities were initiated by scientists.

During the research, relevant conclusions were drawn regarding the climatic adaptability of the “Bayat” sheep, their productivity characteristics, and the potential for creating a new breed through crossbreeding with local varieties.
