As part of the department's monthly activities, a visit to the house-museum dedicated to the memory of the famous Russian poet Sergey Yesenin was organized by teachers of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Languages, N. Ishanova and Z. Nazirova, together with students.
✅ During the visit, students learned interesting facts about the house in which Yesenin lived during his visit to Tashkent in 1921, his works, and his creative friends from Tashkent at the time. The excursion was led by the founder of the museum, writer, and well-known publicist Boris Anatolyevich Golender.
✅ B. Golender held a conversation with students about the role of poetry in human life, the art of translation, and Uzbek-language versions of Yesenin’s works. He especially emphasized that the famous cycle of poems "Persian Motifs" was skillfully translated by Erkin Vohidov, preserving both style and meaning.
