The activities of the Fergana Regional State Center for Animal Disease Diagnosis and Food Safety were studied.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock, Sh. Djabbarov, along with the Director of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency, I. Ergashev, closely ознакомились (became familiar) with the center’s activities.
Currently, 37 qualified specialists are working at the center across 8 modern laboratory departments.
The center conducts highly accurate laboratory tests using bacteriological, parasitological, radiological, toxicological, mycological, and serological methods, as well as ELISA and PCR techniques.
During the current year, the center analyzed:
— 610 bacteriological
— 10,562 parasitological
— 35,158 serological
samples, contributing to ensuring public health and food safety.
The center’s activities are aimed at effectively fulfilling important sectoral tasks and are continuously being improved through modern laboratory capabilities.
