The Working Group of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Livestock thoroughly reviewed the reports circulated on social media regarding alleged injustices in the process of redistribution of pasture lands in Surkhandarya region, including claims that the monitoring conducted by the Committee had turned into a campaign aimed at “leaving genuine livestock breeders without land while granting land to fictitious entrepreneurs.”
During the review, it was found that the required documents, contracts, and cadastral certificates submitted by the entrepreneurs who made statements on social media did not correspond to each other. In addition, shortcomings were identified in the submission of the required documents and the fulfillment of mandatory payments.
As a result of the review, the Working Group provided explanations and recommendations to the business entities that had committed deficiencies. The activities of farmers who have been using pasture lands in accordance with the established procedures to date were presented as a positive example.
