Research processes on desert forage plants at the experimental fields of the Research Institute of Karakul Breeding and Desert Ecology are ongoing.
In order to test the species and varieties of saltbush, which is considered a forage plant for desert pastures—including the Yagona variety, local saltbush, and Atriplex canescens introduced from the USA—they were planted at the institute’s Qarnab experimental field.
The process was attended by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor A. Rabbimov, Deputy Director of the Institute for Implementation and Marketing Affairs Sh. Sindarov, and Head of the “Qarnab” experimental field Kh. Soliyev.
