— What is the procedure for prescribing or administering medicines used in the treatment of animals in veterinary practice?
— In accordance with the Law “On Veterinary Medicine” and the Regulation “On the Procedure for Issuing Certificates of State Registration of Locally Produced and Imported Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives”, approved by Annex 2 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 10, 2023 No.148, the production, sale, use of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives, as well as their import into the Republic of Uzbekistan, are permitted only after state registration by the state veterinary service.
In accordance with the above regulation, veterinary medicinal products and feed additives are subject to state registration and are included in the register of medicinal products.

— Is the activity of veterinary pharmacies subject to licensing? Where can a detailed list be found?
— In accordance with the Unified Regulation “On the Procedure for Licensing Certain Types of Activities through a Special Electronic System”, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 21, 2022 No.80, the sale of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives is carried out on the basis of an appropriate license.
The license register is maintained electronically in the “License” information system separately for each licensable type of activity, and the information contained therein is publicly accessible.
