Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Abror Akbarov, met with Egidijus Navikas, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania.
During the dialogue, bilateral cooperation in the fields of veterinary medicine and livestock farming was discussed, including increasing the trade turnover of livestock products between the two countries, particularly the import of live animals, as well as the export and import of dairy and seafood products.
In addition, ideas were exchanged on establishing cooperation between higher education and research institutions in the veterinary and livestock sectors and facilitating personnel exchange.
At the end of the meeting, measures to be implemented were outlined.
