CNN Travel Includes Uzbek Bread in the List of the World’s Top 50 Breads

The popular travel portal CNN Travel has featured Uzbek bread (non) among the 50 best types of bread in the world.
According to the publication, the beautifully decorated round Uzbek breads — adorned with spirals, patterns, and stamps — are baked in traditional clay ovens known as tandoors.
Uzbek non (bread) varies depending on the region: from chewy varieties in Tashkent to flatbreads in Samarkand, CNN Travel reports. As soon as the breads are taken out of the tandoor, they are quickly handed to couriers who deliver the hot loaves to markets and cafés.
