Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities are being actively promoted in Europe

The forums brought together tourism industry experts, representatives of travel agencies and the hospitality sector, bloggers, journalists, and government officials. Presentations showcased Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, highlighting recent reforms in the country, the creation of new tourist sites, modern infrastructure, and developments in ecological, pilgrimage, and gastronomic tourism.
Special attention was drawn to Uzbekistan’s unique architectural monuments in the historic cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Shakhrisabz, sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as centers of traditional crafts and other cultural and historical treasures of the country.
During the forums, representatives from Uzbekistan’s and Europe’s tourism sectors held B2B (business-to-business) and G2B (government-to-business) meetings to explore avenues for mutual cooperation. As a result, preliminary agreements were reached on signing partnership agreements, implementing joint projects, and increasing tourist exchanges between the parties.
Guests also enjoyed a national folklore program that showcased the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan. Uzbek dances, folk melodies and songs, along with cultural performances from different regions of the country, left a vivid impression on the audience. In addition, guests were treated to dishes from the Uzbek national cuisine.
These forums have become an important milestone in strengthening partnerships between Uzbekistan and European countries in tourism, promoting the exchange of experience, and launching new promising projects. The events contributed to the further development of friendly relations and deepening of cultural ties between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Europe.
