The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

As part of this process, the Head of Department of the Tourism Committee, Ms. M. Khaitova, together with members of the regional working group organized by the Syrdarya regional khokimiyat and representatives of relevant organizations, conducted an on-site inspection of tourism facilities in cities and districts of the region based on a targeted address list.

During the assessment, more than 25 facilities were visited and reviewed on location. Necessary recommendations and proposals were provided for the construction and renovation of modern sanitary and hygiene facilities at tourism sites where they are currently lacking, the creation of conditions for persons with disabilities in accordance with urban planning standards, and the setup of baby changing areas and mother-and-child rooms.

This initiative aims to enhance the country's tourism potential, create more comfortable conditions for both residents and visitors, and further strengthen sanitary culture in educational and social institutions.

Similar assessments are planned to be carried out in other regions of the republic as well.
