Uzbekistan showcases its tourism potential at the international exhibition “EXPOTRAVEL-2025”

At the Uzbekistan booth, visitors were introduced to the country’s rich historical heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, and the comfortable travel conditions being created for international guests. National brochures and magazines were distributed to attendees. During the event, agreements were reached with tourism companies from Russia, Hungary, and other countries to expand bilateral cooperation, organize info tours, and broadcast promotional videos about Uzbekistan in foreign media.
Exhibition visitors also had the chance to observe the preparation of Uzbekistan’s national dish — plov. The performance by the National Dance Ensemble of Uzbekistan left a lasting impression on the audience.
On October 1, a meeting was held at the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the economic and tourism sectors. The talks highlighted the importance of developing industrial tourism and business missions, as well as building direct partnerships between entrepreneurs. The parties agreed to implement joint projects and investment partnerships.
Later that day, a solemn reception dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Sinara Center in Yekaterinburg. The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, chambers of commerce, diplomats, business leaders, and compatriots. In his remarks, Consul General J. Parmanov emphasized the steady development of relations between the two countries. During the ceremony, Head of Department of the Tourism Committee U. Asadullayev presented the President of the Ural Tourism Association, M. Maltsev, with a certificate recognizing him as the Ambassador of the Uzbekistan Tourism Brand in Yekaterinburg.
As part of the reception, videos showcasing Uzbekistan’s tourism potential were screened, while guests received national souvenirs and informational materials. Additionally, representatives of the Tourism Committee met with the leadership of the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss further development of bilateral cooperation.
