Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan discuss tourism cooperation in Baku

As part of the 2nd Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan media forum taking place in Baku, a meeting was held between representatives of the tourism sectors of both countries.
At the beginning of the forum, participants honored the memory of Azerbaijan’s great statesman and political figure, Heydar Aliyev, by laying flowers at his grave.
During the event, participants discussed ways to expand tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. In particular, agreements were reached on cooperation in the media sphere to promote tourist destinations, create joint advertising campaigns, and develop multimedia products.
In addition, the Uzbek delegation invited their Azerbaijani partners to participate in the international tourism fair “Tourism on the Silk Road”, which will be held this year in Tashkent.
