“YONAR” is not just an exhibition of artistic and creative installations — it is an innovative tourism project showcasing the cultural richness of the region and drawing international attention. The festival, conceptually similar to the iconic “Burning Man”, opens new opportunities for the growth of creative tourism and the engagement of artists, musicians, and creative communities from across the globe.
As part of this experimental first edition of “YONAR”, 35 international and local participants created six types of installations: “Sphere,” “Monolith,” “Teleport,” “Statue of Amorphosis,” “Hologram of the Future,” and “Art Car Scorpion.”
Participants lived in five traditional yurts, and electricity was provided by generators. One of the festival's unique aspects was the complete absence of commerce: all living and creative conditions were created and shared by the community itself.
Following tradition, the installations “Sphere” and “Teleport” were ceremonially burned at the end of the festival, serving as a symbolic conclusion in line with “Burning Man” traditions. After the event, participants thoroughly cleaned the camp area, adhering strictly to environmental principles.
