The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event brought together representatives of cultural and diplomatic circles, artists, curators and guests from different countries. Among the speakers at the ceremony were Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, as well as Biennial Commissioner Gayane Umerova, Curator Diana Campbell and Architectural Programme Artistic Director Wael Al Awar. In their remarks, they highlighted Bukhara’s importance as a unique space for dialogue between art and history.


The project of the Art and Culture Development Foundation has become part of the wider programme for the revitalisation of Bukhara’s Old City, contributes to the growth of cultural tourism and reflects the country’s strategic commitment to heritage preservation with a modern approach.
