The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The main goal of the visit was to introduce the Chinese audience broadly to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, strengthen tourism ties between the two countries, and increase the flow of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan.

During this press tour, the guests became closely acquainted with the sights, historical monuments, national culture, and modern tourism infrastructure of Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara.

The Chinese bloggers visited Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square, Amir Timur Boulevard, Navruz Park, the Tashkent TV Tower, and modern city centers in Tashkent; the Registan complex, Shah-i-Zinda mausoleum, Ulugbek Observatory, Bibi-Khanym complex, the Silk Road International Tourism University, and the Samarkand Tourism Center in Samarkand; and the Ark Fortress, Poi Kalyan ensemble, Samanid Mausoleum, and other major historical monuments in Bukhara. They also sampled national dishes, visited artisan centers, hotels, and other tourist facilities.
