At the heart of the festival is the modern tourist complex “Arda Khiva”, which spans 24.5 hectares. It offers visitors a unique blend of historical heritage and innovative infrastructure, featuring 18 hotels, 24 restaurants and cafés, artisan workshops, an oriental bazaar, water parks, a 3,000-seat amphitheater, a scenic riverside promenade, a musical fountain, and other tourism facilities — all designed to comfortably accommodate up to 5,000 guests.
As part of the festival, a press tour has been organized for journalists and bloggers, providing an opportunity to experience with the events and atmosphere of the holiday. Participants can create exclusive content, conduct interviews, and gather information about the region’s tourism development.
“Melon Festival 2025” brings together Khorezm’s agricultural brands and cultural traditions, offering guests tastings of unique melon varieties, masterclasses on national cuisine, traditional games, and live concert performances. It serves as an important platform to promote regional tourism and attract international attention to Khiva and the entire region.
Looking ahead, over ten major events are planned at Arda Khiva by the end of the year, including fairs, international sports games, gastronomic festivals, and artisan exhibitions. The complex is expected to reach up to 1.5 million tourists annually.
