AirAsia launches new flights via Tashkent

In connection with the launch of regular flights on the Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route starting from November 14, 2025, a special event was held by Malaysia’s leading airline, AirAsia.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, U.Shadiev, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Uzbekistan, Ilham Tua bin Illias, the management of AirAsia, as well as representatives of the tourism industry and mass media.
AirAsia is one of the largest airlines in Southeast Asia, boasting an extensive fleet. The company operates 136 international destinations and 258 routes, and is known for its affordable prices and high-quality service.
The launch of this route is expected to increase the flow of tourists to Uzbekistan from key Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and others.
