Procedure for the registration of citizens and stateless persons at their place of residence has been established

The Law “On the registration of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens, and stateless persons at their place of residence and temporary stay” (No. LRU-1074) has been adopted.
The owner of a residential property, or a person authorized to manage it, who provides living space for other individuals, must ensure timely registration of these individuals at their place of residence or place of stay.
The registration of individuals staying in accommodation facilities at their place of stay, under a notification procedure, is carried out by responsible staff of such facilities through the “E-mehmon” system.
Citizens of Uzbekistan who permanently reside abroad are required to register at their place of residence or place of stay within 10 working days from the date of entry into Uzbekistan.
