The purpose of the visit was to introduce South Korean travelers to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential — including its cultural heritage, rich history, traditions, national cuisine, and popular travel destinations — through a special feature in an upcoming issue of the magazine.
During their visit, the creative team explored the architecture, historical landmarks, cultural heritage, and tourist attractions of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm, Surkhandarya regions, as well as the city of Tashkent. They also gathered information about modern life, Uzbek hospitality, national cuisine, leisure areas, and hotel infrastructure across these regions.
As a result of the project, a 150-page magazine issue will be published in a print run of 1,000 copies. The publication will be distributed through South Korea’s popular Kyobo Book bookstore chain, the Online-shopping platform, and placed in hotels and onboard South Korean airlines.
