Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of foreign visitors increased by nearly 20%, a significant achievement for the industry.

In April 2025, Uzbekistan welcomed over 1 million foreign tourists in a single month for the first time, and a new record was set in May — approximately 1.1 million visitors. In June, about 1.1 million tourists visited our country.

This upward trend continues thanks to efforts aimed at improving the country’s image, expanding the visa-free regime, attracting investment into the tourism sector, and actively participating in international tourism exhibitions, forums, and roadshows.

Looking ahead, even more ambitious goals are on the horizon. Plans include expanding the range of tourism services in line with international standards. Special focus will be placed on the development of eco- and sustainable tourism, areas that are becoming increasingly popular in the global market.
