During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, with a particular emphasis on increasing tourist exchanges between the two countries. Special attention was given to the promotion of winter, mountain, and eco-tourism, as well as the development of joint tourism packages.

Al-Mutairi expressed strong interest from Kuwaiti tour operators in Uzbekistan as a promising destination for travelers. He noted that Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, including cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, is of great interest to the Kuwaiti audience.

Both sides emphasized their readiness to provide maximum support to Kuwaiti and Uzbek partners in organizing trips and developing business ties in the tourism sector. They also discussed organizing press tours and fam tours for Kuwaiti tour operators and media representatives.

It was particularly noted that establishing direct air connections between Uzbekistan and Kuwait is crucial for increasing tourist flows. In this regard, the parties expressed interest in launching regular flights between Tashkent and Kuwait City, which would significantly simplify logistics and contribute to the growth of tourist numbers.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation and implement joint initiatives aimed at promoting Uzbekistan in the Kuwaiti market and increasing tourist flows.
