The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The forum brought together representatives of relevant organizations, large tourism companies, and hotel chains from both countries. During the event, the parties discussed issues related to increasing mutual tourist flows, organizing direct flights, and implementing joint projects.

As part of the forum, a presentation titled "Uzbekistan – the Pearl of the Silk Road" was held. Guests were introduced to Uzbekistan’s rich historical heritage, its world-famous cultural monuments, national crafts, and gastronomic traditions. Participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the tourism potential of unique cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent.

The practical part of the event consisted of B2B and G2B meetings, during which representatives of tourism companies and government institutions from Uzbekistan and Oman discussed areas of cooperation, service exchange, tour package development, and the implementation of joint marketing strategies. This became an important step toward developing sustainable and effective tourism ties between the two countries.

Through such events, Uzbekistan not only strengthens its status as a unique tourist destination for Oman but also for the Arab world as a whole, reaffirming its role as a bridge between East and West.
