The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. The focus was on prospects for implementing joint initiatives aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the Silk Road, developing tourism infrastructure, and exchanging experience in the digitalization of tourism services.

Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing Uzbekistan’s appeal for Chinese tourists. In this context, discussions included simplifying visa procedures, improving the quality of tourism services, and conducting targeted information and promotional campaigns.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that strengthening the partnership within the framework of the World Tourism Alliance will lay a solid foundation for sustainable growth in tourism exchanges and open new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
