Uzbekistan and Primorsky Krai strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism. Special attention was given to the implementation of the 2025–2026 Program aimed at increasing tourist flows between the two countries, as well as the active participation of tourism companies in joint exhibitions and forums, including events within the framework of the Year of Tourism of Uzbekistan in Russia.
Vera Shcherbina expressed interest in expanding direct tourist, educational, and business ties with the regions of Uzbekistan, noting the strong interest of Far Eastern residents in the cultural and historical heritage of the country. Both sides exchanged proposals on organizing familiarization tours, roadshows, and joint investment projects in the tourism sector.
Djamshid Abdusalamov, in turn, emphasized the importance of cooperation with Primorsky Krai as a strategic region in developing tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Russia. The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, and both parties expressed confidence in continuing practical cooperation and launching new initiatives within the framework of interregional collaboration.
