During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the development of tourist infrastructure in the district, the creation of new tourist routes, and increasing local community involvement in the sector. Entrepreneurs shared the challenges they face in their activities and offered their proposals.
The Chairman of the Tourism Committee emphasized the need for effective use of existing opportunities in the region and noted that the Jondor District has great potential for tourism development. Specific proposals were also made to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors and to create a favorable environment for investors.
During the visit, the Chairman of the Tourism Committee got acquainted with the work being carried out in the Ushot mahalla of the Jondor district to transform the village of Ushot into a "tourist village."
Additionally, in cooperation with the district administration, an agreement was reached to develop a “tourist ring” and a 1-2 day tourist program that includes the archaeological site of Varakhsha, the Kizbibi shrine, the Zarafshan riverside recreation area, and the “tourist village Ushot.”
Necessary recommendations were also provided to local residents wishing to expand the activities of the craft center in the village and adapt it to the tourist route, as well as to organize a family guesthouse. Practical assistance was given to citizens in the mahallas of Jondor District who are in need of social protection.
As a result of the meeting, projects planned to be implemented jointly with entrepreneurs and local government representatives were discussed. Detailed information was provided about programs, grants, and educational opportunities supported by the Tourism Committee. It was emphasized that this meeting would serve as a step toward taking tourism in the Jondor District to a new level.
