The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, business representatives were provided with detailed information on recent changes in the tax system, state measures aimed at supporting the private sector, newly introduced innovations, and the improvements being made in the field of tourism.

Entrepreneurs, artisans, and representatives of tourism organizations shared the challenges they face in their work and offered suggestions. Key issues discussed included the reduction of tax rates and tourism fees, the creation of more comfortable conditions for tourists in Bukhara’s hot climate without compromising the historical appearance of the city, and the allocation of a designated area for tour guides in the Old Town.

The leadership of the Tourism Committee listened attentively to the concerns raised and emphasized that appropriate measures would be taken to address them. Some issues were resolved on the spot, while others will be handled through practical steps in collaboration with the relevant authorities.
