The Tourism Committee’s stand at the International Exhibition of Ecological Technologies Eco Expo Central Asia 2025, held from June 19 to 21 at the Central Asian Expo (CAEx) in Tashkent, was awarded the title of “Most Interactive Pavilion” for engaging presentations, workshops, immersive exhibits, and successful blend of traditional cultural elements with modern ecological innovations. This achievement highlights the importance of sustainable tourism as a driver of ecological transformation in Uzbekistan.
The exhibition, showcasing the country’s accomplishments in developing eco-tourism with a focus on national traditions and cutting-edge technologies, attracted around 2,000 visitors. Virtual eco-trails and hands-on workshops in pottery and carpet weaving offered a deeper cultural immersion into the region’s heritage.
Expert sessions held at the stand featured leading universities and organizations discussing tourism digitalization, implementation of environmental standards, and local community development.
The Tourism Committee’s pavilion was not only a showcase of innovation but also a dynamic platform for experience exchange, strengthening international partnerships, and shaping a responsible, environmentally balanced tourism future.
