In just 5 days since the start of ticket sales for the concert of world superstar Jennifer Lopez in Tashkent, the event has aroused great interest not only among residents of Uzbekistan, but also among foreign spectators. Such a large-scale influx of foreign spectators will have a positive impact on the country's economy. An increase in hotel occupancy, growth in domestic consumption, and activation of the service sector, including restaurants, transport, excursions and souvenir trade are expected. Tourists coming to the concert, as a rule, stay in the country for several days, which creates a multiplier effect for small and medium businesses, especially in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Holding an event of this level not only enhances the image of Uzbekistan as a new cultural center of the region, but also promotes the country as an attractive destination for international artists and investment in the creative economy.
