Uzbekistan holds series of tourism roadshows in China as part of the Year of Tourism

Organized by the Tourism Committee, the events brought together representatives of travel companies and associations, airlines, government bodies, and leading media outlets from both countries.
The roadshows showcased Uzbekistan’s unique travel routes, highlighting the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as opportunities in ecological, gastronomic, and business tourism. Special attention was given to the tourism potential of the Jizzakh and Khorezm regions, as well as the investment opportunities in Tashkent, which were presented through dedicated presentations.
Attendees also enjoyed a vibrant cultural program featuring performances by Uzbek artists, offering the Chinese audience a closer look at Uzbekistan’s colorful traditions and renowned hospitality.
During the roadshows, more than 15 cooperation agreements were signed between Uzbek and Chinese tourism companies and organizations. These agreements aim to expand partnerships, organize joint tours, run promotional campaigns, and develop tourism infrastructure.
Such events contribute to strengthening cultural and business ties between Uzbekistan and China, opening new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism industry.
