The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the event, the head of the Uzunbulok mahalla was presented with a special “Tourist Mahalla” certificate.

Currently, there are more than 10 family guest houses, 8 craft workshops, 5 catering outlets, 2 photo zones and 3 shopping centers in Uzunbulok.

In addition, two local entrepreneurs received certificates for organizing family guest houses.

During the “Travel around Uzbekistan!” domestic tourism fair held as part of the event, artisans showcased their products, and travel companies introduced new tourism packages.

The establishment of the “Tourist Mahalla” is expected to contribute to the development of domestic tourism in the region, boost employment, and stimulate the local economy.

According to plans, by the end of 2025, the mahallas of “Ukhum” in Farish district and “Novka” in Bakhmal district will also be granted the status of “Tourist Mahalla.”
