The "Road Show" tourism events continued in Islamabad

Another day of the "Road Show" took place in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shadiev, the Managing Director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, Aftab ur Rehman Rana, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev.
As part of the "Road Show," a presentation titled "Uzbekistan – the Pearl of the Silk Road" was held, along with B2B, G2B, and G2G meetings between tour operators of the two countries. A presentation of the national airline, Uzbekistan Airways, was also conducted.
During the presentations, detailed information was provided on Uzbekistan’s pilgrimage tourism potential, the rapidly developing winter and mountain tourism sectors in recent years, as well as the country’s unique gastronomic offerings.
To conclude the "Road Show," a cultural program featuring representatives from Uzbekistan’s art scene was organized, and the country’s culinary potential was also showcased.
