The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues and prospects for developing cooperation in the field of tourism between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Particular attention was paid to the issues of increasing bilateral tourism exchange and implementing joint initiatives in this area. The parties expressed mutual interest in enhancing the partnership, including promoting tourist routes covering cultural and historical attractions and pilgrimage tourism. The steps to create favorable conditions for attracting Pakistani tourists to Uzbekistan, further interaction between relevant departments and organizations of the two countries, liberalizing the visa regime and improving transport logistics were also discussed in detail. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain an ongoing dialogue to resolve these issues and conduct a joint campaign to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.
