The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, along with compatriots studying at universities in Guangdong Province, presented the country's rich cultural and historical heritage, as well as the opportunities for traveling in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek stand, featuring traditional handicrafts, decorative arts, as well as confectionery, dried fruits, and delicacies of Uzbek cuisine, attracted attention and became one of the brightest and most popular at the festival.

Special interest was drawn to programs dedicated to historical landmarks, as well as cultural, ecological, and gastronomic tourism in famous cities of the Silk Road, such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.

At the end of the festival, Uzbekistan’s stand was awarded the title of "The most elegant design".
