The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was opened with welcoming words by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man, who is in our country on an official visit.

Speaking at the event, Jamshid Abdusalamov noted the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations, emphasizing that tourism plays a key role in the economy of both countries, contributing not only to the development of the economy, but also to the cultural exchange between peoples.

The issues of simplification of visa procedures and joint promotion of the tourism potential of both countries through participation in international tourism exhibitions in Uzbekistan and Vietnam were also touched upon.

At the end of the round table, B2B meetings were held, where the First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Jamshid Abdusalamov held talks with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Phan Tam, as well as the management of the Vietnamese companies “Sovico Group” and “Vietnam Airlines Corporation”. The parties discussed ways to expand cooperation in the field of tourism, exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects.

Recall that on April 7, 2025, during the meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the delegation of Vietnam headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly, Tran Thanh Man, issues of developing cultural and tourism exchanges were discussed, including through the establishment of a visa-free regime.
