The Tourism Committee and the State Unitary Enterprise «National PR Center» organized the «Uzbekistan» national stand and presented the tourism potential of our country in a high-profile manner.
The event was attended by representatives from 8 tour operators operating in our country, the national airline «Uzbekistan Airways», and the tourism departments of the Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Tashkent, and Navoi regions, as well as the city of Tashkent. More than 100 agreements were reached.
The Uzbekistan stand at the exhibition became one of the most popular among visitors. On the first day of the event, national dances were performed at the stand dedicated to the tourism potential and culture of Uzbekistan, and information about various types of tourism was provided. Guests were introduced to the unique culture and centuries-old history of the Uzbek people.
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan is ranked among the top 10 most popular tourist destinations for Russians, attracting them with its rich historical heritage and cultural diversity.
MITT is the International Tourism and Hospitality Industry Exhibition, held in Moscow for the past 30 years. It is one of the largest and most significant B2B events in the tourism sector, gathering industry professionals from all over the world every year.
