The publication also highlights the growing number of international visitors to Uzbekistan, noting that tourist arrivals have exceeded 10.3 million, representing a 20.4% increase.

According to official figures, 10.3 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes between January and September 2026, an increase of 1.7 million compared with the same period last year.

The number of visitors from long-haul markets is also growing. Tourist arrivals from Japan increased 1.5-fold, while arrivals from the United States rose 1.4-fold. The number of visitors from Germany and the United Kingdom increased by 25%, from France by 21%, and from Türkiye by 15%.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan’s tourism services exports reached US$5.3 billion, reflecting the continued growth of the country’s tourism sector and its international appeal.
