On September 16, Gayane Umerova, Head of the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism at the Administration of the President and Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Serge Papin, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Crafts, Tourism, and Purchasing Power of France. The parties discussed developing bilateral tourism ties, expanding professional interaction, and promising areas of cooperation.
The main topics of the meeting included promoting Uzbekistan in the French market, strengthening direct contacts between tourism industry representatives of the two countries, and establishing new formats of interaction between government agencies, businesses, and professional communities.
