The final and most extensive stage of the journey took place in Tashkent. The centerpiece of the program was the Islamic Civilization Center, where the guests took part in a special educational program, a media festival, a “Night at the Museum” tour, and multimedia mapping shows. During these events, the participants produced a substantial amount of photo and video material.
In the capital, the students also visited the Hazrati Imam Complex, including the Barak-Khan Madrasah and the Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi, as well as Zarkaynar Crafts Street. Here, they explored traditional Uzbek crafts and cultural traditions, which were reflected in the content they created.
The group also visited the Museum of Applied Arts, the Amir Temur Museum, the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The participants additionally filmed at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, the Navruz Ethnographic Park, and the modern Magic City and Tashkent City complexes, presenting Tashkent as a city where a rich historical heritage blends harmoniously with contemporary architecture.
It is worth noting that the guests began their journey in Khiva, followed by visits to Bukhara and Samarkand. They captured such landmarks as the Itchan Kala State Museum-Reserve, the Bahauddin Naqshband Memorial Complex, the Poi Kalon Complex, Registan Square, the Shah-i-Zinda Memorial Complex, and the Konigil Tourist Village.
The materials produced during the journey will be published on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, helping promote Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage and its tourism potential among international audiences through modern media formats. At the same time, the project contributed to strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
