Uzbekistan opens a new international-standard mountain resort — Beldersoy Resort and Spa

The ceremony was attended by A. Akkulov, Chairman of the Tourism Committee, representatives of partner organizations, and stakeholders from the tourism industry.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Tourism Committee A. Akkulov stated: "The launch of this resort will help diversify the geography of international visitors to Uzbekistan while strengthening the country's position in the global mountain and ecotourism market. It will also contribute to increasing tourist arrivals, creating new jobs, and supporting economic growth. The development of such tourism infrastructure directly enhances the average length of stay of visitors in the region and boosts the export of tourism services."
The resort's infrastructure has been developed in full compliance with international standards. The total investment in the project amounted to US$130 million.
The resort features 109 hotel rooms, 40 premium-class cottages, modern cable car systems, a 3.5-kilometre ski slope, as well as a comprehensive wellness complex including an indoor SPA centre, fitness gym, and contemporary restaurants, offering guests a world-class mountain hospitality experience.
