As part of the program titled “Strategic Approaches to Regional Tourism Development,” a training seminar was held for tourism industry representatives from Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Bhutan, Laos, Ghana, Uganda, Peru, and Uzbekistan. Upon completion of the training, a competition was organized to select the best tourism projects, with funding support provided by the Government of the Republic of Korea.
According to the jury’s final decision, Uzbekistan’s project, “Managing Tourist Flows in the Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve through the Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies,” was recognized as the best project and awarded first place.
As a result, the project will be included in the Global Intensive Consulting Program, which will involve international experts from partner organizations. The program will focus on developing the project concept and preparing an application for grant funding.
The primary objective of this program, designed for the winning country of the training initiative in Korea, is to transform the Action Plan (AP) developed during the course into a Project Concept Paper (PCP) supported by a strengthened feasibility study. The final PCP prepared through the intensive consulting program will be submitted to the Government of the Republic of Korea as a proposal for funding under an Official Development Assistance (ODA) project.
