The meeting was attended by the company’s President and Director Wang Wei, Chief Executive Officer Zhang Xuzhi, and Chairman of the Board Wang Yu. The parties held detailed discussions on the further expansion of tourism ties between Uzbekistan and China, the development of new air routes, and transit opportunities.
Founded in 2004, Spring Airlines is one of China’s first private low-cost airlines and employs more than 10,000 people. Today, the airline operates a fleet of more than 130 Airbus A320 family aircraft and provides scheduled flights to more than 190 domestic destinations within China and over 50 international routes.
Spring Airlines is considered the world’s largest private low-cost airline and one of the fastest-growing and most profitable companies in the sector. The company’s operations are fully based on a digital sales system, enabling minimal operating costs, maximum aircraft load factors, and high-quality additional services.
During the negotiations, it was proposed to implement joint marketing projects aimed at actively promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential among Chinese tourists. Plans were also discussed to promote Uzbekistan through the “Spring Travel” platform as a new and attractive tourist destination for corporate clients.
One of the key issues discussed was the possibility of launching Spring Airlines flights to Uzbekistan. The parties exchanged views on the future introduction of direct flights between cities in China and Uzbekistan, as well as the development of new air routes that would contribute to increasing tourist flows.
The company operates under a low-cost carrier model and, in addition to online airline ticket sales, provides hotel booking, transfer, and visa support services. Cooperation with Spring Airlines will contribute to further enhancing Uzbekistan’s tourism attractiveness in the Chinese market and increasing the number of tourists visiting the country.
