Tourism development within the SCO discussed in Bishkek

The meeting, chaired by the Kyrgyz side, focused on the current state of the tourism industry and prospects for further cooperation within the SCO framework.
As part of the event, the Uzbek delegation held a number of bilateral meetings, including with Director of the State Institution “National Tourism Agency” of the Republic of Belarus, Kirill Masharsky; Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Eduard Kubatov; and Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamshed Jumakhonzoda.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for the further development and strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of tourism. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation between relevant institutions and creating favorable conditions for increasing the flow of tourists.
One of the key topics of the discussions was the formation of a tourism corridor aimed at simplifying travel arrangements and enhancing the attractiveness of destinations for travelers. The participants also considered opportunities for developing new tourism routes to attract visitors from third countries.
Following the talks, the parties reaffirmed their interest in intensifying cooperation and expressed their readiness to jointly implement initiatives aimed at advancing the tourism industry.
