It was noted that this meeting is regarded as a practical step toward implementing the agreements reached at the highest level during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev, to France on March 11–13, 2025.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to familiarizing the delegation with the tourism potential of the mountainous regions of Tashkent, Namangan, Jizzakh, and Surkhandarya, which have been identified as key destinations for the development of year-round mountain tourism.
The Uzbek side highly appreciated the international experience of the French partners in the creation and management of world-class ski resorts, including the example of Courchevel, and expressed interest in adapting advanced best practices within Uzbekistan.
In this context, the parties discussed an initiative to develop a flagship mountain resort project that could become a key driver for the growth of the tourism industry and related infrastructure in the regions.
It was emphasized that the priority lies not only in creating modern infrastructure, but also in establishing a sustainable, competitive, and internationally recognized tourism destination.
